I have made fairly rapid progress painting my Baltic Pagans,
and have completed the three 12-man units of Ferocious Foot:-
I used a dull colour scheme, which is fine but rather
boring. I quite like the wicker shields.
Next up are the two 6-man units of Men-at-Arms (or Nobles).
These will have some more colour and decoration. This will complete my Baltic Pagan
force!
I am now contemplating the Teutonic opponents. Three boxes
of figures will be required (mounted knights, mounted sergeants, and mixed spear/crossbow
foot). These will start using a grey undercoat and I plan to paint all the
white cloth in one go! I need to visit Salute 2015 to get the necessary
transfers for the shields etc.
